The New York Jets lost yet again on Sunday. This time, New York dropped a contest to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is getting hit with a hard reality check.
“The Jets are 2-7. Aaron Glenn is 5-21. The Jets have one interception in his 26 games. The defense is terrible. The season is dead,” The Athletic posted on X, formerly Twitter.
Glenn made a very obvious statement following his team's loss. Kansas City would win the game, 35-12.
“Aaron Glenn said the Jets hit their keys to victory in the first half then in the second half “we just didn’t play up to par,” The Athletic posted.
Jets are headed toward yet another losing season

The Jets are simply reeling. The game broadcast showed New York quarterback Geno Smith visibly frustrated, which is understandable. The offense has failed to click well all season.
Jets fans have screamed on social media for Glenn to be fired. He is seen as a head coach sitting on a very hot seat, by many analysts. Time will tell how much longer Glenn will coach for New York.
If the team keeps losing, he won't last much longer. His team looked poised in the first half to possibly defeat the Chiefs Sunday.
“The Jets ran 39 offensive plays in the first half to 24 for the Chiefs and had possession for 20:26 to 9:34. Twenty five of those 39 Jets offensive plays came on the Kansas City side of the field,” the New York Post reported.
Things then fell apart in the second half. New York was outscored 21-0 in the second half of the game.
Jets fans are desperate to see some success. New York hasn't made the NFL Playoffs in close to 20 years. The Jets haven't had a winning season in more than a decade.
Things get no easier for this lowly Jets team. New York plays the Buffalo Bills in their next contest.
