The Dallas Cowboys versus Indianapolis Colts showdown brought out a sibling showdown. Except safety Caleb Downs got the better end of Josh Downs. All by picking off the latter's quarterback Daniel Jones.
Jones faced a heavy rush at his face then flung the football into the air. The standout from Ohio State Downs stepped in front and snatched the pass for the final takeaway.

That turnover during a third-and-22 occurred with under 40 seconds left. After a kneel down on offense, Dallas claimed the crucial 27-23 road win at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday.
Downs, however, prevented what could've been a brand new Dallas collapse. The Cowboys jumped to a 17-7 lead thanks to quarterback Dak Prescott hitting wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for a 44-yard touchdown strike. And that long score occurred before halftime arrived.
Jones, though, ignited Indy in erasing the 10-point lead. He hit Ashton Dulin for an even longer 55-yard bomb that sliced the lead to 20-17 during the third quarter.
Place kicker Spencer Shrader later booted two field goals from more than 50 yards out (including a 59-yarder) that placed the Colts out in front. But Prescott helped engineer one more scoring drive on the Cowboys' side. He got Dallas to the Colts' one-yard line before turning to Javonte Williams for the go-ahead one-yard touchdown run, lifting Dallas back in front 27-23.
The rookie Downs tallied three total tackles and picked off one pass, which again sealed the win. Josh Downs finished with three catches for 24 yards on the afternoon.
Dallas improves to 4-5 overall. The Cowboys even operated without the likes of receiver George Pickens, cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and defender DeMarvion Overshown due to injuries.
