The New York Jets lost their third game in a row on Sunday. New York bowed to the Chicago Bears, 23-12. The Jets finally ended a long interception drought, but that didn't mean much to embattled Jets head coach Aaron Glenn.

“We got an interception. Great. We lost the game. We lost the game. That’s what I’m thinking about,” Glenn said, per The Athletic.

Glenn is trying to turn around the franchise after a lousy 2025 season. New York won just three games in 2025, which was Glenn's first season. His Jets defense didn't post a single interception all year in 2025.

Even though that drought finally ended against the Bears Sunday, Glenn was just not pleased.

“I’m very disappointed on a number of different levels,” Glenn said, per the outlet.

Glenn's defense posted four interceptions on Sunday, but three were called back due to penalties. New York committed a whopping 12 penalties in the game, for 76 total yards.

New York just couldn't figure out how to play efficiently on Sunday. Not only were there sloppy penalties, but the offense struggled to move the ball. The Jets finished the game with just seven first downs and 157 total yards.

The Jets' struggles caused one reporter to see flashbacks to the team's abysmal 2025 campaign.

“There is no sugarcoating the Jets performance today. That felt closer to the 2025 Jets than the one we saw the first three weeks of the season. Bad from start to finish,” The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt posted to X.

The Jets are now 1-3 on the season. Jets fans are not satisfied with the results. It has been close to 20 years since New York made the NFL Playoffs. The team also hasn't had a winning season since 2015.

The Jets are next in action against the Cleveland Browns on October 11. Cleveland is 3-1 on the campaign.
