The Green Bay Packers are trying to rescue their season after struggling badly in two of their first three games. They made some progress with their offensive line in a 17-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Quarterback Jordan Love has been under constant pressure this season and has rarely had time to lead the Packers offense with any cohesiveness. However, that unit appeared to do a much better job in Week 4 as Love was able to complete 22 of 30 passes for 197 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Perhaps more importantly, Love was not sacked once by the Tampa Bay pass rush.

Love was clearly happy that the Packers earned a victory over the struggling Buccaneers, and he was exceptionally pleased that the offensive line showed significant improvement.

“It was great,” Love said after the game, per Packers beat reporter Jason B. Hirschorn. “I think the O-line did a great job today. Pass protection, run game, just keeping me clean, giving me time. They did a great job, and you can feel the difference back there.”

Love's touchdown passes went to tight end Tucker Kraft and second-year wideout Matthew Golden. Golden opened the scoring when he caught a 2-yard TD pass early in the second quarter. That play culminated a 16-play, 68-yard drive.

Kraft also scored on a 2-yard TD reception when he caught a short pass from Love early in the third quarter. That play culminated a 9-play, 80-yard drive and the Packers were able to hold on for the victory.

Kraft caught 3 passes for 42 yards with a long reception of 17 yards.
