Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wasn’t happy about hearing from a driver after last Thursday’s loss to the Buccaneers, but the interaction didn’t bother Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
The driver said “embarrassing” as Prescott walked by him in an AT&T Stadium tunnel and Prescott replied by sarcastically calling the driver, who does not work for the team, a “tough guy” before adding “get his ass out of here.” During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jones said he’s fine with people speaking their mind.
“I didn’t pay a lot of attention to it. It doesn’t impact me at all,” Jones said. “The driver in question was not an employee. Fans can express themselves and and should express themselves. Whether he was our employee or not, he was a fan it sounds like. So, I’m for our fans expressing themselves.”
The rest of Jones’s radio appearance focused on what the Cowboys can do on the field to make future expressions from the fanbase a little more positive.
