Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since dislocating his left elbow in the team’s Week 2 loss to the Cowboys and he his return to game action was a chief topic at his press conference on Thursday.
Daniels has not been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Colts in London and he was asked if he thinks he’ll be able to play this weekend. Daniels said that he’s taking things one day at a time.
“I feel good, feel good to be back. Just taking it day by day,” Daniels said.
Daniels is wearing a brace on his left arm when he is on the field and he said that it keeps him from being able to fully extend that arm. He added that it does limit him in any way when it comes to throwing or handing off and we’ll find out in the near future whether he’ll get to show off those skills this weekend.
