The Seattle Seahawks have plenty to address on offense following Thursday night's 17-14 overtime loss versus the Denver Broncos, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba continues to thrive regardless of matchup or quarterback play. The superstar wide receiver posted 12 receptions for 134 yards in Mile High and is manufacturing mind-boggling levels of output through six games. He has accounted for a record-breaking 35 percent of his team's scrimmage yards this season, per Doug Clawson of CBS Sports.
Smith-Njigba is arguably Seattle's only consistent source of excellence on offense right now, as the reigning Super Bowl champions try to weather injuries and scuffles. Sam Darnold threw two interceptions, including one that set up the Broncos for a game-winning field goal, and the rushing attack was spotty. When the Seahawks need a big play or just a jolt of life, they look to the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year.
Smith-Njigba now has 49 catches for 717 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, positioning himself for the Triple Crown past the first quarter of the season. He is an indisputable juggernaut. But his greatness is not enough to cure all of Seattle's issues. If Darnold and company are going to commit costly turnovers, then even a herculean effort from No. 11 may not be enough on certain nights.

They must figure out how to turn the next Jaxon Smith-Njigba gem into a winning effort. Fortunately, they have some time to mull it over.
