Jalen Brunson made his Saturday Night Live debut over the weekend and gave a nod to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding during his opening monologue.

“The new season is just a couple weeks away, and I got to say, it’s going to be pretty cool to be back in Madison Square Garden, looking around like, ‘Wow, just a few months ago, this was the exact spot where Taylor and Travis got married,’ ” quipped Brunson, referencing the couple's star-studded wedding over the summer.

Madison Square Garden is the home of the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers. Kelce and Swift got married at the famously nicknamed “The World's Most Famous Arena” on July 3. Selena Gomez, Tom Brady, Gigi Hadid, and more attended to celebrate the couple's special day.

Swift has not spoken out about the wedding but Kelce has shared how much he enjoyed himself.

“It was a fun offseason, man,” Kelce told reporters during Chiefs training camp on Aug. 12. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”

Kelce added that the wedding was “full of a lot of celebration,” and a “crazy night.”

The Kansas City Chiefs star spoke about what it meant to get married at MSG and how it fulfilled a childhood dream for him and that he always wanted to go to the venue for a Knicks playoff game.

He then spoke about the wedding by thanking the guests that celebrated alongside them.

“Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night,” Kelce recalled on the Sept. 2 episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “And it was just so magical, man.”

Kelce's season has since kicked off with the Chiefs on a winning streak 3-0. As for Brunson, he will be back on the court for their first preseason game on Oct. 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road. The two teams will have another matchup on the first regular season game of the season but this time at MSG on Oct. 20.
