Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars kept rolling on Thursday night with a dominant 33-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens, and the star quarterback made sure head coach Liam Coen got his share of the credit.

Speaking with the “Thursday Night Football” crew on Prime Video after the game, Lawrence was asked about Coen’s impact on the organization. Jacksonville is now 19-6 in the regular season since Coen took over.

“Yeah, he’s great. I mean, he’s relentless the way he, you know, prepares, just the way he thinks. I think he’s a great leader for our team. You know, guys respond really well to, you know, how he leads. He’s got a lot of energy, a lot of enthusiasm, brings the juice every day. And then you see the things that we’re able to do offensively,” he said.

"He's relentless the way he prepares."

“He’s also really smart, has a great staff that he’s put together, and guys that are great coaches around us. And then I think, you know, the players are all bought into it,” Lawrence added.

The 27-year-old also shared a funny story about his head coach. After settling for three second-half field goals, the Jaguars finally found the end zone again late in the fourth quarter on a Chris Rodriguez touchdown run. Lawrence joked that the team “might have to take a commercial flight home” if they had not scored.

“He wanted that 700,” he said with a laugh.

That late touchdown pushed Coen’s offense to 702 points through 25 games together.

The turnaround under Coen has been impressive. Coen arrived in 2025 from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he was offensive coordinator, and guided Jacksonville to a 13-4 record and an AFC South title. Lawrence finished fifth in MVP voting that year.

This season, the Jaguars are 6-2 and look like one of the best teams in the AFC. Lawrence threw for 242 yards and a 50-yard touchdown to Parker Washington against the Ravens, and he now has 17 touchdowns to just four turnovers on the year. Traveling Jaguars fans even serenaded him with “MVP” chants in Baltimore.

Jacksonville’s defense was just as impressive, holding Baltimore to 227 total yards and forcing three takeaways.

With Lawrence and Coen clicking, the Jaguars have every reason to believe they can make a deep run this season.
