Jaguars defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton was carted off on Sunday, and the initial prognosis isn’t good.

The Jaguars believe Hamilton has a torn quad and will have to miss the rest of the season, according to Ian Rapoport. Hamilton will have more tests today to confirm the diagnosis.

The 6-foot-4, 335-pound Hamilton has started every game and played well for the Jaguars this season. He even filled in at long snapper for a game and performed respectably. He’ll be a tough player to replace.

A 2020 third-round pick, Hamilton has played his entire career in Jacksonville but is slated to become a free agent after this season.
