Ja'Marr Chase had a very quiet Week 1 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was not going to be denied a big day in Week 2, as the Bengals star wide receiver bounced right back with a huge performance against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

After catching two passes for only 12 receiving yards in Week 1's 33-27 win at home over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chase racked up 75 receiving yards and, more notably, two touchdowns on seven receptions and nine targets in Cincinnati's 20-6 victory in the Texans game at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

The former LSU Tigers star wideout started the scoring in that contest with a spectacular 32-yard scoring grab in the end zone in the second quarter.

Much has been said about that highlight play from Chase, and adding to it is Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor's take on the touchdown.

“I watched it a lot. Impressive,” Taylor said (h/t Noelle Blumel of WCPO 9).

Chase was not done after that score. Two quarters later, he found the end zone again for his second touchdown of the game (and the season), reeling in an 18-yard toss from quarterback Joe Burrow, extending the Bengals' lead, 17-3.

Chase, of course, is impressed by his own body of work against the Texans, specifically with his first TD.

“Probably one of them, yes. Until I've seen a video, yeah, I can say that now,” Bengals said after the game.

Chase will look to keep it going in Week 3, when the Bengals aim for a 3-0 start to the season in a game against the Pittsburgh Steeles at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
