Some are against how much Travis Kelce's wife, Taylor Swift, is shown during Kansas City Chiefs games, but NBC showed how the magic really happens.

NBC revealed how it cut to Swift after Kelce's touchdown on Sunday Night Football in Week 2. The behind-the-scenes clip showed the inner workings of the broadcast.

Initially, the cameras are directed to stay in the traditional broadcast view for field goals during Harrison Butker's extra point. However, once it goes through the uprights, they direct it to slowly dissolve to “Play 66's” view, which was pointed at Swift.

They wanted the money shot of Swift exclaiming, “That's my husband!” while pointing at her wedding ring. NBC got the shot it wanted and created an iconic moment.

While not shown as much as when she first started attending Kelce's games, NBC didn't shy away from showing Swift during the Chiefs' Sunday Night Football win against the Colts.

This was the second game she attended in a row. She attended the Chiefs' Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos with actor Tom Cruise.

The Chiefs beat the Colts in dramatic fashion. It took a full overtime period, but Kansas City was able to outlast Indianapolis, thanks to Harrison Butker kicking a game-winning field goal.

Kelce turned back the clock in the game. He led the team in catches (nine) and yards (101). He scored his first touchdown of the season after Daniel Jones gave the Chiefs the ball in the red zone with an interception.

The star tight end has had two good games in a row. He had a 59-yard reception in the Chiefs' Week 1 win over the Broncos. He has been a reliable target for Patrick Mahomes. The two-time NFL MVP is coming off a torn ACL injury suffered in December 2025.
