Milwaukee Brewers star Jacob Misiorowski is officially set to start Game 1 of the National League Championship Series. His opponent on the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers? Tarik Skubal. Misiorowski is more focused on the Dodgers' lineup than going head-to-head with the southpaw, however.

“I'm not really looking at them (the opposing star pitcher), I'm looking at the lineup more than him,” Misiorowski told reporters Saturday, via Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “For me personally, it doesn't really mean that much to face a guy like that. Like, obviously it's cool… But I'm just hoping that these guys (Brewers' lineup) can do their job and handle business with him, and let me do my thing.”

It projects to be a highly competitive NLCS. The Dodgers' pitching is deep, but the Brewers' pitching is rather underrated. Of course, everyone knows the name Jacob Misiorowski. The fact that Milwaukee's bullpen is strong is also a well known fact. However, starters such as Logan Henderson and Robert Gasser should not be overlooked.
