While the Edmonton Oilers took on the New York Rangers on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, a broadcaster gave a special shoutout to Harry Styles, who just ended his 30-night Madison Square Garden (MSG) residency.
During the broadcast, the banner raised in honor of Styles ending his 30-night residency was mentioned. Styles posed for a picture with some of the Oilers' staff members as they transferred equipment to the Garden after playing the Long Island Islanders on Halloween.

The employees asked the “As It Was” singer's permission to put equipment away while he worked out. He didn't mind, and those employees will never forget that interaction.
Harry Styles ended his MSG residency before Oilers dominated Rangers
The night before the Oilers beat the Rangers 4-1, Styles brought an end to his 30-night residency at MSG. This was his second consecutive tour to feature a show at the World's Most Famous Arena on Halloween. He dressed up in various costumes during the penultimate and final night of the residency.
Styles' Together, Together Tour stopped for a residency at the Garden from Aug. 26 to Oct. 31. These were the only shows he performed in the United States in 2026. He will return for a full North American stadium leg of the tour in 2027.
