The New York Giants suffered a major blow on Monday after Jaxson Dart went down with a knee injury in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. He had to be helped off the field and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

With Dart's early exit, Jameis Winston was thrust into the spotlight. He, however, failed to get the job done as the Giants were pummeled by the Rams, 28-6.

The 32-year-old Winston had an awful night, going 11-of-27 for 111 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. He was sacked twice.

Despite their loss, Malik Nabers voiced his support for Winston.

“We're going to continue to practice hard, get out there, be more intentional about what we've got to do, what we've got to accomplish. Rally around Jameis,” said Nabers in the video posted by SNY.

With Winston struggling to command the offense, Nabers, who is still trying to regain his form after an ACL injury, only had one reception for one yard.

The Giants will look to bounce back in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans.
