Garrett Wilson showed how important he is to the Jets offense during Sunday’s 31-24 loss to the Lions, so head coach Aaron Glenn’s update on his health will be welcomed with a sigh of relief by the team’s fans.
Wilson was helped off the field after an incompletion on the final Jets possession of the day. Glenn said at his postgame press conference that Wilson had a concussion evaluation and that he was cleared, although time ran out on the Jets before he could get on the field.
One play after Wilson was injured, Lions safety Chuck Clark forced a fumble by Jets quarterback Geno Smith and the Lions recovered to ice their second victory of the season.
Running back Breece Hall left the game with a thigh injury and guard Dylan Parham had to leave with a knee injury. Glenn did not have updates on either player after the game.
