New Florida football head coach Jon Sumrall leaned into Jadan Baugh to power through Auburn Saturday. Then Sumrall showed up in a viral profane locker room speech that made its social media rounds. Now Sumrall addressed that reel before facing Ole Miss this coming Saturday.

One video showed Sumrall sharing a “f— 'em” speech directed at Auburn after claiming the 44-39 shootout win on the road. He later dropped a “good mother f—— Gators!” which fired up the visiting locker room.

However, Sumrall explained himself in hilarious fashion Monday. He fired off the belief that the speech was AI generated.

“We don't allow video in the locker room from our players. That must have been a spy that snuck in. I think it was AI,” Sumrall said. “Somebody told me it was AI, so I think it was AI. Not real. It was not real.”

He then brought up with his wife into the conversation.

“Yeah, I cuss after the game sometimes…my wife's tried for years to get me to stop,” Sumrall said while addressing reporters.

So Sumrall denies his profanity laced speech after defeating the Tigers. But he also shared a blunt take on one moment involving him and Auburn.

“They didn't want me. And I didn't want them,” Sumrall said, which cleared up any report that he was interested in the Tigers' opening.

Now Sumrall shifts focus to building up the No. 21 Gators. Now they'll host a top 10 foe in Ole Miss at Gainesville. Sumrall will likely lean into Baugh out of the backfield to set the tone. But he'll need to find ways to counter electric dual-threat quarterback Trinidad Chambliss too.
