The Eagles are coming off of an ugly loss to the Bears which caused coach Nick Sirianni to plead the fifth on backup QB Andy Dalton. Dalton threw a crucial interception in the loss, one of several plays Sirianni lamented and Eagles legend DeSean Jackson questioned.
Jackson joined host Kay Adams on her Up & Adams show during which he pointed the finger at Sirianni amid questions surrounding his offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.
“It's always crazy cuz you get speculations…But I think through the first two weeks, it was pretty good. I just think this past game, I don't know if Sirianni's gettin' his hands in the pot, and it's steamin' over.
“I just feel like what we've seen, it was good. Sean Mannion, I think he's a good offensive coordinator…I just think, what it comes down to what I see in the first two weeks, I liked what Sean Mannion was doin'.

“I just think…This past week, I didn't like the play calls of certain routes…I just hope he's allowing Sean Mannion to come in there and do what he wants to do.”
Sirianni has a Super Bowl championship under his belt from 2024 but the Eagles' 2026-27 season is looking increasingly dicey among injuries to DeVonta Smith and others. Mannion has a different kind of offense to work with now that Jalen Hurts' former security blanket AJ Brown is in Tennessee, and it will take time to put his stamp on it. If Sirianni and Mannion can find the right mix for the Eagles' offense, better days could be ahead heading into Week 4.
