Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin popped up on the injury report causing fans to wonder whether he can go against the Colts on October 4. McLaurin's rough start has him in a “not too pressed” mood as he continues to prioritize his health.

McLaurin spoke to Jordan Schulz of the Schultz Report during which he shared his excited thoughts on a new matchup possibility in the NFC East.

“I think Joey Porter is a great corner, I don't think he's had enough time to really show the upward trend that he's really on, I went against him a few years ago, and he's going to play press, he's going to be physical, he's gonna talk a little smack, I love that, it was a great battle.

“I think he's only scratching the surface of the type of player he can be. I love his competitiveness, he makes a team better…I'll be looking forward to it,” McLaurin said.

McLaurin was listed as a fantasy football player to worry about headed into October 4's battle against the Colts. He rebounded from a tough start to the season to record 77 yards and a touchdown on five catches against the Seahawks in Week 3, giving him plenty to build off of as Marcus Mariota continues to lead the Commanders' offense and Jayden Daniels works his way back.

The Commanders are a work-in-progress to say the least, but McLaurin has the right attitude. He relishes challenges and his current injury recovery is one of them as he works to get back on the football field in hopes of helping his team.
