Four-time All-Star Allisha Gray underwent a minor procedure on her left hand and is still considered day-to-day for the Atlanta Dream heading into the WNBA Finals, she said Tuesday.

"Progress is great," Gray told WSB-TV when asked at practice whether she'd play in Game 1. "As of right now just day-to-day, and you'll see."

Gray did not clarify whether she had surgery on her hand, and the team declined to say when the procedure occurred.

She was seen taking shots at practice Tuesday, a day before the team travels to the Bay Area for Saturday's game against No. 2 seed Golden State.

Gray, the top scorer for the No. 4 seed Dream, has missed the past two playoff games after injuring the hand in the first half of Game 1 in a semifinal series against the New York Liberty. The Dream advanced to the Finals with a three-game sweep.

She was listed as questionable heading into Game 3 last Friday against New York and went through warmups before being ruled out "in the interest of caution," according to coach Karl Smesko.

Gray, a 6-foot guard out of South Carolina, averaged 19.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals this year while appearing in all 44 regular-season games. She was also the Dream's top scorer (22.0 points per game) during their first-round sweep of the No. 5 seed Washington Mystics.

The Dream and Valkyries will both be competing for their first WNBA championship.
