Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green never holds back, and he took on criticism of his physique in his latest interview. Social media users had a lot to say after a video of Draymond Green speaking to the media, wearing a black T-shirt, a sweater around his waist, and a fanny pack. Many detractors believe Green wasn't in proper shape at the start of the season.
On a recent edition of The Draymond Green Show, Green explained his outfit and why its composition led people to believe he was out of shape.
“I had a sweater tied around my waist,” Green said. “And I had my fanny pack tied around my waist, and I had my glasses pulling down (shirt collar). Everything on my shirt pulled it down. I know you went crazy, and I really don't give a damn.”
Green boldly said he was in shape for the start of the regular season next week.

Needless to say, I really don't give a damn what y'all say because half the people who are saying something look ridiculous. So, I really don't give a damn.”
After the controversy, BasketNews checked the Golden State Warriors‘ official website to confirm Draymond Green's weight heading into the season. According to the publication, Green is listed at 235 lbs., consistent with the weight he's played at for most of his career.
