After fighting through a string of injuries all over their starting lineup in the dog days of summer, the Los Angeles Dodgers are getting some good news heading into the fall, with Andy Pages and Rokie Sasaki officially coming off the injured list to bolster Dave Roberts' squad as the regular season wraps up.

Formally announcing the move on social media, the Dodgers also revealed which players are heading back to OKC to make the move work: a catcher and a pitcher who is becoming increasingly used to being DFA'd.

“The Dodgers have activated OF Andy Pages and RHP Roki Sasaki from the injured list and optioned RHP Emmet Sheehan and catcher Eliezer Alfonzo to Triple-A Oklahoma City,” the Dodgers wrote.

Before he broke his hand in early August against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pages was having an All-Star-level season, playing Gold Glove-caliber defense in center field while hitting 21 home runs, which still ranks fourth on the team despite almost two months out of action. While the Dodgers have been able to make things work with players like Tommy Edman, Alex Call, Ryan Ward, and Alek Thomas picking up the slack in the outfield next to Teoscar Hernandez and Kyle Tucker, getting Pages back should make the Dodgers better on both sides of the ball.

And as for Sasaki? Well, it's already been well telegraphed by Roberts that his role will look a lot more like his 2025 playoff run than the 2026 regular season, heading to the bullpen once more to provide a fireball from the right side of the plate opposite lefties like Tanner Scott, Alex Vesia, and Jack Dreyer.

Though their roles may not be the same, both should be major additions to the Dodgers when the playoffs begin, with the potential to swing games in key moments for Roberts' revamped roster.
