The Los Angeles Dodgers announced two roster moves ahead of their game against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday afternoon. Right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller has been optioned while right-handed pitcher Landon Knack is being recalled to the big league team.

Miller has been back and forth over the past couple of weeks. On September 5, he was activated from the 60-day injured list. Miller was optioned to Triple-A a couple of days later. On September 10, the right-handed hurler was activated at the Triple-A level. LA then recalled Miller on September 14 before he was optioned once again on Thursday.

Miller has allowed three earned runs across 5.1 innings of work in two MLB outings this season. The former top prospect has recorded a 6.32 ERA across eight total outings (one start) at the Triple-A level in 2026.

Meanwhile, Knack has surrendered five earned runs in 7.2 innings in the big leagues this year. He does have a strong 2..08 ERA in his nine appearances (eight starts) at Triple-A, however.

The Dodgers are currently preparing for the MLB postseason. LA is looking to clinch the National League West division and finish the season strong. Although the Milwaukee Brewers hold the best record in the National League, the Dodgers will enter the postseason with confidence as they look to win their third consecutive World Series championship.

Los Angeles is focused on its current series against the Reds in Cincinnati, though. The Dodgers lead the four-game series 2-1 heading into Thursday's ball game. First pitch is scheduled for 12:40 PM ET in Cincinnati.
