The Los Angeles Dodgers are just days away from getting their 2026 playoff run underway as they look to add a third straight World Series championship to their trophy case. The Dodgers will play either the Atlanta Braves or the Philadelphia Phillies, with Atlanta leading 1-0 in that Wild Card matchup heading into Wednesday's Game 2.

It was a roller coaster of a season for last year's free agent signee Kyle Tucker, who stumbled out of the gate in Los Angeles but eventually started to find his footing down the stretch of the season.

Recently, Tucker gave his response to accusations that he doesn't work as hard as some of his counterparts around the league.

“Whether I was getting paid what I am or $1, I don’t really care,” Tucker said, via Fabian Ardaya and Katie Woo. “I’m just going to go out and play and try and do the best I can regardless of the situation.”

Tucker seemed to be putting in work throughout the season for the Dodgers, as he ended up coming up with some big hits for the team down the stretch to help them secure a bye to the NLDS.

“I’ve enjoyed my time here,” Tucker added. “Obviously, the better you play, the more fun you probably have, because that’s the whole reason why I’m here in the first place. But I’ve had a lot of fun here.”

Meanwhile, the Dodgers seem to be getting healthy at the right time for the second straight year, looking to once again march through the NL playoffs en route to the game's biggest stage.

They could find out their opponent for the NLDS as soon as Wednesday afternoon if the Braves win.
