Coach Kalani Sitake's BYU Cougars traveled to Orlando to face the UCF Golden Knights and came out with a 39-31 loss, their first of the season. The loss came in heartbreaking fashion, and it came just after BYU rose to number one in the College Football Week 8 Power Rankings, ahead of the Miami Hurricanes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and other top teams.

After the game, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy couldn't help but notice that something didn't seem right on a field goal attempt that resulted in BYU being whistled for roughing the kicker. The penalty gave UCF another chance to score a game-winning touchdown, which they did.

“We're in double-overtime, BYU's fightin' for absolute life like they always do…And they're gonna call this roughing the kicker? What are we doin'? The lineman just (fell) down…What a world, is that roughing the kicker? They're screwin' us, they're screwin' the Cougs!” Portnoy said, adding “WORST CALL EVER!”
