Dallas Goedert sprained his MCL, will miss a few weeks

Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert underwent an MRI on his injured right knee on Monday. It revealed that Goedert sprained his MCL, NFL Network reports.

Goedert is expected to miss a few weeks.

If the Eagles place him on injured reserve, Goedert would miss at least four games.

He was injured while blocking on a run play in the second quarter against the Titans.

Goedert has five catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles already have rookie tight end Eli Stowers on injured reserve, and he cannot return until at least Week 5. Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins are the only healthy tight ends on Philadelphia’s active roster, with Josiah Deguara available on the practice squad.
