Christian Yelich knows the job isn't done. The Milwaukee Brewers are in a favorable position with their 3-0 National League Championship Series lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the fact of the matter is that it is a best-of-seven series. Milwaukee has to win one more game to clinch its first World Series appearance since 1982 — and the two-time defending champion Dodgers won't go away quietly.

“Still haven't done anything yet,” Yelich said after Game 3, via Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. “Still have to win another game. They're a great team with a lot of great players, a great pitching staff… You're gonna have to continue to play well through the whole series if you want to beat those guys.

“They're back-to-back champs for a reason. Just gotta keep your head down, keep grinding, keep, you know, just having quality at-bats, making big pitches.”

Yelich has only started one game in the NLCS. Milwaukee has been starting him only against right-handed pitching so far while playing Los Angeles. In his 23 total plate appearances in the entire 2026 MLB postseason, Yelich is hitting .350 with an .835 OPS. He is making the most of his opportunities.

Regardless of whether or not he's in the lineup, Yelich is a respected veteran. He knows what to expect in the postseason. There is a reason why Yelich was announced as the Brewers' team captain before the playoffs began.

Christian Yelich and the Brewers will look to clinch a series sweep and book their ticket to the Fall Classic on Thursday in Game 4 of the NLCS. First pitch is scheduled for 8 PM ET at Dodger Stadium.
