The ongoing custody battle involving Tyler Herro and ex-girlfriend Katya Henry has taken a turn, as she has responded to the Milwaukee Bucks star's claims.

TMZ reports that Henry claims Herro has “only exercised a handful of overnight visits with their two kids from March 2025” until the time she filed her case against the NBA player.

This contradicts what he told the court, as he claimed to have enjoyed several overnight visits with their kids. She did, however, concede that Herro has financially supported the kids since birth. She claims to be the primary caregiver otherwise, saying she has “made most of the decisions” for their children.

Henry argues that it'd be in the best interest of their kids for the parents to share responsibility for them, but ultimately, she wants the “ultimate decision-making authority” regarding their “health, education, and extracurricular activities.”

Previously, Henry wanted “safeguards and parameters” to be implemented on a temporary and permanent basis for their kids due to his “historical conduct.”

Herro was accused of cheating on Henry in 2022. Despite this, she later announced she was pregnant with their second child in June 2022. Their first kid, a daughter, was born in 2021. They would welcome a third child, a son, into the world in 2023.

The NBA star was drafted with the 13th pick in the 2019 Draft out of Kentucky. Herro started his career with the Miami Heat, playing for them for the first seven years of his career.

During his Heat career, Herro made one All-Star team and was named Sixth Man of the Year in 2022. He played in a career-low 33 games during the 2025-26 season, and he was traded afterward. He was moved as part of the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade that also sent Bobby Portis to the Heat.
