Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians was originally scheduled for Friday at 8 PM ET at Progressive Field. MLB made the move to reschedule Game 3 on Thursday, moving it up in the day to the early afternoon and ultimately avoiding expected rain. The league was seemingly hopeful that Game 4 would not need to be rescheduled, but rain continued to fall in Cleveland throughout the night, which led to the Rays-Guardians matchup being postponed to Saturday.
Chris Rose, who works for Jomboy Media and is also a Guardians fan, shared a strong take on the situation. Rose went as far as to call out MLB for their handling of the scenario. The postponement announcement was not announced until well after the originally scheduled start time, which meant fans arrived at the stadium only to be sent home later in the night.
Rose shared a 2:20 minute video discussing the situation. Below is part of what he said.

“I'm still trying to comprehend what happened last night in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio,” Rose said. “… Starts pouring about 6:00 local time, two hours before first pitch. They open the gates, and guess what? We have no idea what Major League Baseball is thinking. Nobody joins the TBS crew. I'm not saying it had to be the commissioner Rob Manfred, but somebody in the league office.”
Rose went on to explain how someone in the league office should have joined the TBS broadcast to explain exactly what was happening. Instead, the only updates were from the MLB Communications social media account, which left fans guessing in between posts. Rose also questioned why the league is prepared to now have four consecutive games as opposed to a travel day in between.
Article Continues BelowAs things stand at the moment, Games 4 and 5 between the Rays and Guardians in Cleveland will be played on Saturday and Sunday. If Games 6 and 7 are necessary, they will be played in Tampa Bay on Monday and Tuesday. With the World Series not scheduled to begin until Friday, Rose questioned why Monday can't be a travel day with Games 6 and 7 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rose ended his video by saying the quiet part out loud about the upcoming World Series.
“You're gonna have a hard enough time trying to sell Milwaukee versus either Tampa or Cleveland to the fringe fan. Don't piss off your real fans. Stop doing it.”
