Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin exited Saturday’s game against No. 5 Indiana with an apparent right arm injury late in the fourth quarter, forcing true freshman Luke Fahey into a tight Big Ten showdown.
Indiana defensive tackle Mario Landino hit Sayin and landed on him, with the quarterback’s right shoulder absorbing the contact. The Buckeyes QB left the field and headed toward the locker room as observers noted his right arm hanging at his side. The Buckeyes led 19-15 with roughly five minutes remaining when the injury occurred.
SleeperCFB shared news of the quarterback change on X, formerly Twitter, as the Buckeyes turned to Fahey with the game still undecided.
