The Kansas City Chiefs made NFL history for all the wrong reasons after their offense completely stalled in a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.

According to OptaSTATS, Kansas City became the only team in the Super Bowl era to play a game with no rushing attempts of at least 10 yards, no completed passes of at least 20 yards, no red-zone drives, no touchdowns, and multiple missed field goals.

The combination of failures highlights just how thoroughly KC was dismantled by the defending Super Bowl champions. The Chiefs entered Sunday undefeated, but their offense had no answers against a Seahawks defense that controlled the game from start to finish.

Patrick Mahomes finished 19-of-33 passing for 165 yards and an interception. For the first time in his career as a starter, Kansas City failed to reach the red zone. The Chiefs managed just 213 total yards and converted only three of their 11 third-down attempts.

Kenneth Walker III also struggled against his former team. The reigning Super Bowl MVP rushed for just 36 yards on 14 carries, averaging 2.6 yards per attempt. Travis Kelce led Kansas City with four receptions for 44 yards, but the Chiefs could not generate the explosive plays needed to challenge Seattle's defense.

Kicker Harrison Butker compounded the problems by missing field goals from 58 and 45 yards. His 50-yard field goal late in the third quarter accounted for Kansas City's only points.

Meanwhile, Seattle capitalized on its opportunities. Sam Darnold threw for 257 yards and a touchdown, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught nine passes for 150 yards and a score. The Seahawks finished with 410 total yards, nearly double Kansas City's production.

Kansas City will have to regroup quickly with a road matchup against the Denver Broncos coming up in Week 8. After a performance like this, the Chiefs need to prove that Sunday's offensive disaster was an exception rather than a sign of deeper problems.
