The Boston Red Sox are making a long-term commitment to manager Chad Tracy. Tracy, who stepped in this season as interim manager after the club fired Alex Cora, is getting the job full-time.

“The Boston Red Sox have removed the interim tag from manager Chad Tracy's title and signed him to a three-year contract with a club option for 2030. Tracy took over as manager following Alex Cora's firing when Boston was 12-17. The Red Sox are 74-55 since,” ESPN's Jeff Passan posted to X, formerly Twitter.
