The Chicago Bulls suffered a brutal loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday. The day after, they made notable roster moves.
Chicago sent rookie Dailyn Swain and center Nic Claxton to the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League. Swain is the No. 15 draft pick out of the University of Texas. Claxton suffered a hamstring injury during preseason that has sidelined him during the season.

While Claxton is out, Swain has suited up. He has played in two games and is averaging 9.5 minutes and 2.5 points per game. On Wednesday, he scored 3 points against the Knicks.
Swain has been overshadowed by superstar rookie Caleb Wilson, but he's trying to make a name for himself in the secondary unit. Overall, he performed solidly in the preseason, averaging 5.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, the team brought in Claxton to fill the void left by a solid rim protector and add strength in the paint.
During the summer, Claxton was traded to Chicago in a 3-way deal with the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, Jalen Smith has been filling in for Claxton in the starting rotation. Smith left on Wednesday with a left-hand injury but expects to return before facing the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
The Windy City Bulls will be a development stomping ground for Swain and a rehabilitation stop for Claxton.
Their first game of the season is on Friday, November 6, against the Noblesville Boom at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
