A new survey paints a grim picture of how Milwaukee Bucks fans view the 2026-27 season. Casino.ca questioned 5,000 NBA supporters across all 30 teams and ranked Milwaukee last in its Hope Index. The Bucks scored just 2 out of 100, one point behind the Sacramento Kings and 31 behind the Memphis Grizzlies.

Milwaukee’s outlook becomes even harsher beyond the overall ranking. None of the Bucks supporters surveyed predicted that the team would reach 50 regular-season wins. The same group also produced no respondents who expected Milwaukee to advance to the NBA Finals.

Bucks supporters see few reasons for confidence

The study measured expected regular-season performance, postseason projections, team confidence, coaching trust, offseason satisfaction, season expectations, and changes in optimism. Milwaukee struggled across the categories that received the most weight, leaving its fanbase separated from every team except Sacramento at the bottom of the index.

Bucks respondents gave the team an average confidence rating of 3.8 out of 10. They evaluated Milwaukee’s offseason at 4.0, while only 8% said their outlook had improved compared with one year earlier. Those numbers suggest the concern reaches beyond a single disappointing prediction.

Sacramento finished next to last with a score of 3, but its supporters expressed slightly different concerns. Kings fans registered the league’s lowest team-confidence rating at 3.4 and gave their head coach a 4.1, also the NBA’s lowest mark.

At the opposite end, San Antonio led the Hope Index with a 98, while New York scored 95 and Philadelphia reached 90. Five fanbases finished at 80 or better, illustrating the enormous difference in preseason belief.

The survey does not predict Milwaukee’s results, but it shows how far confidence has fallen before the first meaningful games begin.
