Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II voiced his support for Bo Nix on Tuesday, pointing to the quarterback’s preparation and commitment to his teammates.

The endorsement comes with the Broncos atop the AFC West at 6-2 following Sunday’s 28-24 home victory vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. Nix has helped the Broncos maintain that winning record despite criticism of his passing efficiency.

Surtain discussed his quarterback during an interview with NFL insider Jordan Schultz, who posted the clip Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter. Schultz released the full conversation on his YouTube channel earlier the same day.

“When I look at Bo, man, I see the work that he puts in each and every week. I see how much he cares about success, how much he cares about winning, how much he cares about the team. There's no other quarterback I'll go to bat for other than Bo Nix, because he shows up when it matters.”
