On Sunday afternoon, the Denver Broncos picked up their first win of the season with a comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars at home. The Broncos outscored the Jaguars 14-0 in the fourth quarter, ultimately winning by a final score of 20-13.
The Broncos received a scare when running back JK Dobbins went down with an apparent hamstring injury, but on Monday, the team got a positive update on that front.
âÂÂBroncos RB JK Dobbins, who left Sunday's win over the Jaguars with a hamstring injury, is âÂÂgood,' source said. They face the Rams next Sunday night,â reported NFL insider Tom Pelissero of The Ringer on X, formerly Twitter.
Dobbins is a key part of the Broncos' offensive attack, establishing himself as an elite running back and supplementing Bo Nix and the passing game on that side of the ball.
Dobbins ran for 36 yards on Sunday vs Jacksonville's solid defense before suffering the injury, but thankfully, it doesn't appear to be anything severe.
Overall, the Broncos showed impressive poise on Sunday in rallying from an ugly first half to secure the victory, getting the offense going just in time and bouncing back from their ugly dud last week against the Kansas City Chiefs to open up the season.
Things won't get any easier from here for Denver, as they will now face a Rams team that many consider to be the Super Bowl favorites as the season gets underway.
Kickoff for that game is set for Sunday evening at 8:20 pm ET from Denver.
