The Denver Broncos watched Talanoa Hufanga become blessed with a two-interception night against the Los Angeles Rams. Unfortunately he won't pull off something similar versus the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday due to his NFL Injury. So Denver is calling on an ex-Buffalo Bills safety.
Broncos insider for The Denver Post Sam Jane reported Thursday who's joining the franchise and coach Sean Payton as an emergency.
“The Broncos are elevating safety Taylor Rapp from the practice squad for tonight's game,” Jane posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter. “Rapp has started 72 games in his NFL career. He'll try to help fill the Talanoa Hufanga sized void in the secondary.”
Rapp obviously previously played with Bills quarterback Josh Allen plus former coach Sean McDermott. But he shares his own NFC West ties with Hufanga and Denver's TNF foe.
Rapp started his career as a box safety for the Los Angeles Rams. Including suiting up for the 2021 Super Bowl winners alongside Matthew Stafford, Andrew Whitworth, Cooper Kupp, plus Aaron Donald and fellow defensive back teammate Jalen Ramsey. That became Rapp's only Super Bowl victory in his career.

The past Pro Bowl performer for the San Francisco 49ers will be missing this contest and potentially Denver's next game. Denver watched him exit during the 23-17 road win over he winless Los Angeles Chargers from this past Sunday.
Denver enters this game at 3-2, just like the defending Super Bowl champions.
