Milwaukee Brewers rookie Cooper Pratt added a personal keepsake Wednesday before another opportunity to help his team win its first World Series championship.

The 22-year-old shortstop met Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. on the field at Tropicana Field ahead of Game 5 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The encounter came hours after Pratt delivered four hits in Game 4, including a home run that briefly put Milwaukee three outs from a title.

The Brewers entered Wednesday leading the series 3-1, with first pitch scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Fox in St. Petersburg, Florida.

USA Today’s Bob Nightengale shared a photo Wednesday on X, formerly Twitter, showing Griffey Jr. signing a baseball for the Brewers rookie.

Pratt’s Tuesday performance included a 396-foot, go-ahead homer in the 12th inning, his first career postseason home run.

He became the first rookie in World Series history to collect four hits in a potential championship-clinching game.

The Rays answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning for a 4-3 victory, ending Milwaukee’s eight-game winning streak and forcing another game.

Pratt had already delivered a decisive moment earlier in the series. His seventh-inning single in Game 2 drove in the go-ahead run as the Brewers won 5-4.

The rookie made his major league debut June 16 and now holds a regular role on baseball’s biggest stage.

Jacob Misiorowski is set to take the mound for the Brewers in Game 5 against the Rays. Milwaukee entered the postseason as the top seed and now has another chance to cap Pratt’s rookie season with the franchise’s first World Series title.
