The Milwaukee Brewers maintained a steady clubhouse atmosphere after Tuesday’s Game 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.
Milwaukee came within three outs of its first championship before the Rays rallied to extend the World Series.
MLB Network shared a clip Wednesday on X, formerly Twitter, featuring Brewers reporter Sophia Minnaert describing the clubhouse mood on MLB Central from Tropicana Field ahead of Game 5.
“You could go into that clubhouse any day. You wouldn't know if they've won four in a row, lost four in a row. A game like last night, right? Such a gut punch. You know, you're three outs away from the World Series, but they all said very matter of factly after the game last night, like, hey, we signed up for this… We knew this wasn't going to be handed to us… This is no different, right?”
"There's been a lot of adversity they've had to overcome over the season, this is no different."

Cooper Pratt’s home run in the top of the 12th inning gave the Brewers a 3-2 lead in Game 4.
The Rays answered with two runs in the bottom half, capped by Ben Williamson’s RBI single off Shane Drohan for a 4-3 walk-off victory.
The defeat ended Milwaukee’s eight-game winning streak but left the Brewers holding a 3-1 series lead.

Jacob Misiorowski is set to start Wednesday’s Game 5 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
A Rays victory would send the series to American Family Field for Game 6 on Friday.
The Brewers need just one victory to secure their first championship.
