The Browns had a significant member of their defense on the sideline at Wednesday’s practice, but concern is low about defensive end Jared Verse missing Sunday’s game against the Steelers.
Verse sat out of practice with a knee injury, but head coach Todd Monken said at his press conference that the team expects him to play this weekend. Monken said Verse had some swelling and the team wanted him to rest.
Right tackle Tytus Howard (concussion) and center Elgton Jenkins (knee) were also out of practice Wednesday.
Safety Grant Delpit (neck), defensive tackle Mason Graham (ankle), defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. (ankle), cornerback Myles Harden (hamstring), running back Dylan Sampson (knee), linebacker Carson Schwesinger (ankle), and safety Daniel Thomas (ankle) were all listed as limited participants.
