Milwaukee Brewers star outfielder Jackson Chourio entered Monday's Game 3 of the 2026 MLB World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays as one of the best players in the Fall Classic through two games. In fact, he's earned a place alongside baseball legends with the way he's been playing against the Rays.

“He is the youngest player to begin the World Series with back-to-back multi-hit games since Mickey Mantle in 1951, and he is the youngest player with two hits and two stolen bases in the World Series game since Ty Cobb in 1908,” Tom Verducci of FOX Sports said just before the start of Monday's game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. “Jackson Chourio is having an October for the ages.”

The 22-year-old Chourio went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in the Brewers' 3-2 win over Tampa Bay in Game 1 of the World Series at American Family Field. He followed that up with a 2-for-5 performance to go along with a run and two stolen bases in Milwaukee's 5-4 victory in Game 2.

Through his first 11 games in the 2026 edition of the MLB postseason, Chourio hit .244/.271/.378 with two home runs, eight RBIs, a walk and two stolen bases.

The Brewers, who have lost just once since the postseason started and before Game 3 of the World Series, are more than just about Chourio, as they have other dependable hitters in the lineup and a pitching staff that has been so good as well in the playoffs. However, he still finds ways to stand out, especially when it matters the most for Milwaukee.
