From Super Bowl wins to broadcast mics, the brotherhood between Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady did not leave the football field.

Gronk exclusively revealed to ClutchPoints last month how they have been supportive of one another as they navigate their new broadcasting careers.

“I mean, we've helped each other by just making each other feel comfortable,” Gronkowski said in ClutchPoints' interview via his partnership with Bounty.

Despite having different roles on air — Gronk is a studio analyst for FOX NFL Sunday, and Brady is a lead NFL color analyst at FOX Sports — adding that Brady has a “whole different preparation” from him, they are still there to support one another.

“But what makes us feel good about it is that we know that we're there for each other if anything. Sometimes segments running to each other, we roll into each other and it's always great, people love it,” he added. “The connection that we have at Fox coming from the football field is just phenomenal.”

Brady and Gronk were teammates on two teams during their careers in the NFL. The pair first played together on the New England Patriots for nine seasons — 2010 through 2018 — where they were able to win three Super Bowls together (Super Bowl 2014, 2016, and 2018). The tight end then came out of retirement to join Brady to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two seasons — 2020 and 2021). They would win their last Super Bowl together in the 2020 NFL season.

Gronk also showed love to Julian Edelman who was their Patriots teammate at the time and is now an analyst on Fox NFL Kickoff.

“Also, Julian Edelman being there as well on the pregame show we help each other,” Gronk continued. “[We] feel very, very comfortable because we've been teammates in the past and now we're teammates in the future as well, which is what makes it like super, super special.”

Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports to serve as the network's lead NFL color commentator in May 2022. Edelman joined FOX Sports in 2023.
Gronk signed his first contract with FOX Sports in 2019 and came back in 2022 as an NFL analyst after retiring for a second time. In 2025, Gronk landed his full-time, weekly role on FOX NFL Sunday to replace Jimmy Johnson.
