The Chicago Bears have a challenging assignment in Week 8 when they travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks Monday night. The Seahawks are coming off an impressive 20-3 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in which their defense shut down their previously unbeaten opponent.
The Bears would like all of their top weapons to be functioning at a high level in this game because the Seahawks are so strong defensively. They are the top-ranked team in the league in fewest yards allowed at 233.9 per game, and they are second to the Minnesota Vikings in points allowed at 17.9 per game.
As a result, the Bears would like running back Kyle Monangai back in the lineup. He has missed the last three games with a turf toe injury. Monangai did not practice in Thursday's session with both the turf toe injury and a thumb issue listed as the main problem areas.
Since the game is Monday night, Monangai has not been ruled out of the game and there is still time for him to recover, but missing the practice session is not a good sign for head coach Ben Johnson.

The Bears will likely need a huge game from QB Caleb Williams if they are going to compete for 60 minutes and come away with the road victory.
