With Baylor football star quarterback DJ Lagway dealing with an ankle injury, it has put his availability for Week 3 against Louisiana Tech in question, with fans wondering if he'll make an appearance. While it has been revealed that Lagway won't play for the Baylor football program this Saturday, it is for sure possible that the Colorado Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders will see the quarterback for the Big 12 opener the weekend after.

According to college football insider Pete Nakos of On3 Sports, Lagway is “on track to return” against the Buffaloes on Saturday, Sept. 26.

“While Baylor QB DJ Lagway isn't expected to play this weekend against Louisiana Tech, sources tell [On3 Sports],” Nakos wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “He is on track to return next week in the Big 12 opener against Colorado.”
