The Washington Commanders' Week 2 loss was depressing for the team. Jayden Daniels suffered the same injury that kept him out for much of last season: a dislocation of his non-throwing elbow. After looking like his Rookie of the Year self in the first half against the Dallas Cowboys, the quarterback was tripped up in the red zone late in the second quarter and landed awkwardly on his arm.

The former Heisman winner is going to miss some time, but even more worrisome, the injury being a repeat of a problem of old has fans concerned that Daniels is going to be susceptible to frequently injuring his elbow for years to come.

Another concern for some is that Daniels' teammates showed little concern when their QB went down with the injury. A clearly hobbled and in pain Daniels collapsed to the ground while all of his teammates walked past him to the sideline without blinking an eye. The training staff, meanwhile, rushed onto the field because something was clearly wrong.

In all likelihood, this is nothing. Some fans were left wondering if Daniels' teammates hate him and weren't upset to see him go down, but in reality, there wasn't much the players could do, especially with the training staff bolting onto the field. Unlike Jaxson Dart's injury in the New York Giants game, the Commanders-Cowboys action was sent off to halftime, so the players had to get off the field rather than wait on a knee for gameplay to get back underway.
