Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker had a bad game on Sunday against the Chargers, missing an extra point and a field goal attempt. Chiefs coach Andy Reid is not concerned.
Reid said today that he’s confident Butker will be able to figure out what’s going wrong and get himself straightened out.
“I’ve got trust in Harrison,” Reid said. “That’s the best I can tell you. He’ll fix whatever the problem is. He’ll fix it and get it taken care of. He works like crazy at that.”
So far this season Butker is 10-for-13 on field goals, which is a career-low rate of 76.9 percent. He made a 50-yarder on Sunday, but he missed from 52 yards and has previously missed field goals this season from 50 yards and 51 yards. The Chiefs need him to be better. Reid thinks he will be.
