On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Rams will hit the field at home for a primetime game against the New York Giants, looking to pick up their first win of the season. The Rams are hoping to bounce back after an ugly dud against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia last week to open up the campaign.

Recently, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter stopped by The Pat McAfee Show and gave a troubling injury update on wide receiver Puka Nacua heading into the matchup.

“It certainly sounds like Puka Nacua is trending towards not playing tonight.. The Rams aren't giving up hope just yet tho but it doesn't sound promising,” said Schefter, per Pat McAfee on X, formerly Twitter.

Nacua is listed as questionable for the game as he deals with both a hip and a groin issue, causing him to miss some practices for the team this week.

Meanwhile, star pass rusher Myles Garrett will also be out for this one after recently hitting the IR due to a knee injury, but the team will see the return of Aaron Donald against the Giants after the legend missed Week 1 against the 49ers but is now ready to officially make his comeback after two years away from the sport.

The Rams could have their work cut out for them against a Giants offense that dismantled the Cowboys last week and certainly shouldn't take this game lightly.

Kickoff between New York and Los Angeles is set for Monday at 8:15 pm ET from SoFi Stadium.
