The New York Jets took a tough loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 7, and it was a collection of things they could probably point to that led to it. One of the main things they should look at is how they finished the first half, as the Dolphins were able to get points right before halftime. Unfortunately, this has been a theme for the Jets under head coach Aaron Glenn, as they've been outscored 107-6 in the final two minutes of the first half.

Once Mike Tomlin heard that stat, he offered some advice for Glenn and the Jets on the Sunday Night Football broadcast.

“If I were them, I would do two-minute every day of my life until further notice,” Tomlin said.

A day after the game, Glenn was asked about the first-half stat, and he insisted that it's something the team is working on.

“We're trying. We do a two-minute jog through on Wednesday, and then we come back, and we have a live two-minute on Thursday, and then we have another two-minute on Saturday. So, it's not like we're not trying to get that done,” Glenn wrote.

#Jets HC Aaron Glenn was asked today about the viral stat that New York has been outscored 107-6 in the final two minutes of the first half under his watch:

As of now, the results have not shown for the Jets, and it's costing them games.

The worst thing for the Jets is probably that they lost to the Dolphins, a team that hadn't won a game yet this season. Garrett Wilson is already looking forward to getting revenge on the divisional opponent.

“I mean, I don’t know if I’m the judge, the law, of what’s embarrassing or not. We’ll see them again and that’ll feel good. We gotta go get it done when we see them again,” Wilson said via Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.

Hopefully by the next time they see the Dolphins, they'll have their first-half issues fixed.
