The Philadelphia 76ers will be seeing a lot of LeBron James this season, but it's yet to be determined just how much the city of Philadelphia will be seeing James. The Sixers' new star is set to split time between two cities as he plans to live in New York City while playing in Philly.

James has been taking a helicopter back and forth between the two cities as he attends practices with his new team. The chopper can even be heard during post-practice player media availabilities inside the Sixers' facility.

According to a report, James is able to take these helicopter rides to and from New York City and isn't paying a dime for it. In fact, according to a new report, James has access to use corporate aviation with Fanatics as part of his endorsement deal with the company.

“The deal we signed with Fanatics almost three years ago includes access to their corporate aviation,” a spokesperson for LeBron James told Front Office Sports. “It's a feature in many of their deals with their largest athletes and we appreciate their partnership as LeBron splits his time between New York and Philadelphia.”

While James signed the deal with Fanatics back in 2024, there was no way to know that he would end up in Philadelphia playing with the 76ers just two years later. Alas, here James is as a Sixers player spending his time taking 45-minute helicopter rides to and from the 76ers practice facility, which is actually located in Camden, New Jersey.

According to TMZ, these helicopter rides can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $9,000, but James will have access to them as part of his agreement. Safe to say James won't have to deal with traffic like the rest of us.

At almost 42 years of age, LeBron James is coming off a season in which he averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game for the Los Angeles Lakers. His workload will be interesting to see as he joins forces with Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid on this very talented 76ers team.
