The Cowboys have lost their starting left tackle for the season.

Paris Johnson suffered a torn biceps and will miss the rest of the season, coach Mike LaFleur announced today.

“I feel for him, obviously,” LaFleur said. “It sucks. It sucks for him, first and foremost, it sucks for the Arizona Cardinals, our offense, this team. But NFL football, here we are in October, show goes on.”

Johnson stayed in the game and played through the injury on Sunday against the Giants, but testing today revealed that it was significant.

The Cardinals selected Johnson with the sixth overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft and he’s been their starting left tackle since. The Cardinals picked up Johnson’s fifth-year option and he is due a guaranteed salary of $19.7 million in 2027.
